  We were in South Bend, Indiana for a sporting event at Notre Dame
  Location: about 4 miles away from Notre Dame, very easy drive to the Notre Dame campus
  Nearby Establishments: plenty of restaurants, shopping places, supermarket nearby
  Hotel Staff: friendly, professional
  Room: big, clean
  Breakfast: blehhhhh....plenty of carbs but not a lot of protein. Kids with us were not happy with the breakfast because they felt that it was not filling enough. There is a restaurant within the hotel and you can order some food if you're not happy with the breakfast.

  We were booked as part of a large group for a hockey tournament. Room types were not respected even though we were required to submit a rooming list 6 weeks in advance. The event was scheduled for 3 days, 2 nights, but the hotel tried to charge us for a 3rd night as a no call/no show even though the event did not start until te day we arrived. We spend about 30 nights a year traveling with Marriott, and these types of problems are not the norm.

  Typical Courtyard, but looks to be recently remodeled. Service was very friendly, and I will stay again.
